Heels have historically done better in King of the Ring. Past winners like William Regal, Sheamus, Bad News Barrett, and Baron Corbin increased fans' interest in the tournament. Seth Rollins is someone who can add even more value to the title.
Rollins is playing one of the most compelling characters in WWE currently. From nearly taking out Rey Mysterio's eyeball to almost ending Edge's career, Rollins has done many evil things in recent years.
'The Drip King' is great in the ring and on the mic and can add another dimension to his 'King of Drip' gimmick by taking the crown home. He is part of a rivalry with Edge, and winning the tournament would allow him to become King just like The Rated-R Superstar did in 2001.
The Architect has not been part of a championship picture for some time now. WWE could choose him as the next King of the Ring to add another accolade to his name.
