Did Roman Reigns retire The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33?

It was a big year for The Big Dog in 2017. Roman Reigns defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania, and potentially sent him into retirement. He became only the second man to defeat The Dead Man at Mania, with Brock Lesnar being the first.

For those who boo Reigns for the way he's booked, they may want to look at the fact that he never held the world championship at all in 2017. Being on the Raw roster, the WWE Universal Championship was held by Kevin Owens, Goldberg, and Brock Lesnar.

That didn't stop Reigns from having a big year though as he reunited with The Shield this year, and became the 17th ever grand slam champion after he won the WWE Intercontinental Championship from The Miz on Raw in November.

If rumors hold true, 2018 could be an even bigger year as current projections have him facing Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34.
