After returning as the Doctor of Thuganomics last year, John Cena is all set to make his in-ring comeback to WWE with a singles match against 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36. The 16-time WWE Champion was busy with his projects outside WWE but now he is back and the fans are very excited for his second WrestleMania match with Wyatt.
Talking about the WrestleMania main events Cena has been a part of, his rivalry with The Rock lasted over three WrestleMania shows. First, Cena faced off with The Miz in the closing match of WrestleMania XXVII. The Brahma Bull interfered in that match and allowed the A-Lister to retain his championship.
Next year, Cena and The Rock battled each other in a 'Once in a Lifetime' match. The Rock emerged victorious in that match. The next, WWE repeated the same main event next year to ensure that John Cena has the last laugh in his feud with The Rock. WrestleMania XXIX was the last time John Cena featured in the main event.
His previous two appearances had come at WrestleMania 23 (WWE Championship match against Shawn Michaels) and WrestleMania 22 (WWE Championship match versus Triple H) where John Cena emerged victorious in both.
