WWE legend The Rock is certainly on many fans' Mount Rushmore of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. The People's Champion is a 10-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion and has since transitioned out of professional wrestling into becoming one of the biggest box office actors in the world.

During The Rock's career as an in-ring WWE performer, The People's Champion competed in 5 seperate WrestleMania main event matches.

The Rock's first WrestleMania main event came at WrestleMania XV in 1999 when The Brahma Bull defended the WWE Championship against Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Other WrestleMania main event matches for The Rock included Mick Foley, The Big Show and Triple H at WrestleMania 2000, Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania X-Seven and John Cena at WrestleMania 28.

The Rock's final WrestleMania main event came at WrestleMania 29 in 2013. In a rematch of their "once in a lifetime" match 12 months prior, The Rock faced off against John Cena once again. However, this time the WWE Championship was on the line.

John Cena successfully defeated The Rock to capture the WWE Championship as The People's Champion officially "passed the torch" to John Cena in the process.
