Possibly the strangest pairing on this list, the team of Road Warrior Animal and Heidenreich came about in 2005 when the former Tag Team Champion returned to the WWE.
Needing a replacement for Road Warrior Hawk following his death in 2003, Animal teamed with the recently face-turned Heidenreich, and the pair had a brief, successful partnership, winning the WWE Tag Team Titles from MNM in late 2005.
Behind the scenes, the pair would sometimes see eye to eye, though according to Animal, there were some big problems.
According to Animal in a shoot interview, Heidenreich lacked respect for the gimmick, which definitely didn't sit well with the veteran.
Unsurprisingly, it wouldn't be long until their partnership ended, as Heidenreich was gone shortly after whilst Animal tried his luck as a singles star.
