In January, mere hours before RAW 25, then-Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore was fired after allegations of sexual assault were made public.
Had he not been fired, Amore would've continued as Champion, meaning no tournament, which culminated with Cedric Alexander winning the purple-strapped title at WrestleMania.
