#1 What if Daniel Bryan had stayed retired?

One of the best news stories of this year, Daniel Bryan returned to the ring after retiring over two years prior.

But if he had stayed retired, the drop in the ocean would've had major waves for WWE.

Paige would not be SmackDown Live GM, though may have replaced Kurt Angle on RAW. In addition, there would be no number-2 babyface on the Blue Brand, which could've been fixed by the Superstar Shake-Up bringing someone over from RAW.

Worst of all, Bryan's contract (which he eventually re-signed), would more than likely have expired, and Bryan would've left the company to go back to competing on the independent scene.
