#3. Mickie James

Mickie James was one of the stand out women Superstars in WWE back in 2006, when she was able to dethrone Trish Stratus as the Women's Champion at WrestleMania 22. Mickie went on to dominate the division for a number of years until she was released from WWE back in 2010.

James worked for several companies following her release from WWE, most notably Impact Wrestling, where she met her future husband Nick Aldis, who is also known as Magnus.

In September 2014, more than four years after James was released from WWE, the star welcomed her first child, a son called Donovan. James returned to screens the following year with both Impact Wrestling and Global Force Wrestling before WWE came calling once again.

James returned to WWE in 2016 as part of a NXT Women's Championship match against Asuka in Toronto, before she then signed with WWE the following year. James has tried, although in vain, to lift her seventh Women's Championship over the past few years.

Reports suggest that James' contract with WWE has recently expired, but the former Champion regularly appears on commentary on WWE Main Event.
