It was Reigns who stood tall in the match. Though The Game contested some matches after this fight, he never challenged for a world championship again.

Edge was the ultimate WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He won the championship seven times, more than anyone else.

The last time The Rated-R Superstar held the title was in 2011. He defended the title against Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania that year and stood tall in the clash.

However, he relinquished the title the following SmackDown due to being diagnosed with spinal stenosis. While Finn Balor also had to vacate his title due to a legit injury, he was given a rematch after his return.

Such a rematch was not feasible in Edge's case as he returned to WWE in 2020. Unfortunately, the World Heavyweight Championship was retired back in 2013.
