All good things must come to an end. It's been rumored that Brock Lesnar has had a conversation with Vince McMahon about retiring at WrestleMania 36. If this is true, it would be huge. Not just creatively, but also results in a massive payday for Brock Lesnar.

Assuming that this is true and Vince doesn't just pull out the checkbook and try to pay him more to stay on, it provides interesting possibilities.

There are so many dream matches that boggle the mind which could be on the table. While the WWE Universe has had a love-hate relationship with The Beast Incarnate, there is no denying he is one of the best athletes to ever grace a WWE ring.

But let's assume that Vince McMahon has already started planning storylines for his last WWE match at WrestleMania 36. He has already written them down on a piece of paper and kept it in a 'lockbox' in his office. This has been given some thought. Who do you pick to defeat the man who ended the streak? There's only a select few.

Here are 5 WWE Superstars who could slay The Beast for good.

#5 Bobby Lashley

Dream match
Dream match

This is one that the WWE Universe has been wanting to see since Bobby Lashley returned to WWE. Both men have MMA backgrounds and are power-houses in the ring. It could even be booked as an MMA-style shoot match if done correctly.

Ever since Bobby Lashley came back, his booking has been terrible, to say the least. His feud with Roman Reigns was credible but its been downhill ever since. His pairing with Lio Rush was promising but that doesn't seem to be going anywhere at this point in time.

Bobby Lashley has gone on record saying that he wants the Lesnar match badly. In his words, it's something that the fans want and he's not wrong in believing that. They have never actually crossed paths in the WWE and it would be a shame not to see them go head-to-head in a WWE ring. Only time will tell.

#4 Braun Strowman

Monster vs Beast
Monster vs Beast

Braun Strowman has never beaten Brock Lesnar. This is a rematch that needs to happen for the better. While The Monster Among Men lost quickly in their last encounter, he deserves a shot at The Beast. Moreover, if anyone is going to get the rub, it has to be The New Face of Destruction.

It does make sense in the long run of how this would pan out. Braun Strowman was stopped dead in his tracks because Vince McMahon didn't see any point in pushing him any further. It was no fault of Braun.

Put it this way - he's the guy who's going to show up to work every Monday on WWE Raw. With Lars Sullivan going to SmackDown, WWE Raw needs its own monster to lay destruction across the red brand. And being the man who retired the Beast Incarnate would certainly go a long way.

#3 Randy Orton

Beast vs Viper
Beast vs Viper

The entire WWE Universe remembers the last time these two met. Randy Orton ended up with a concussion at SummerSlam 2016 as well as The Legend Killer being opened up and lying in a pool of blood. It was a work but it wasn't pretty to watch.

In a way, this storyline already writes itself. Randy Orton would be seeking his revenge, and what better way to cement his own legacy than by being not just The Legend Killer but also going down in history as The Beast Killer. It would certainly be a proper ending as well as their own personal story coming to an end.

Randy Orton started training in OVW at the same time as John Cena, Batista, and Brock Lesnar. It makes sense in a lot of different ways. As a performer, Randy Orton has improved leaps and bounds. This would be one match he wouldn't want to miss.

#2 Goldberg

Da Man vs The Beast Incarnate, one last time
Da Man vs The Beast Incarnate, one last time

While Goldberg is not officially retired, it would be interesting if he accepted a chance to face Brock Lesnar one last time. Some in the WWE Universe are already probably saying, 'we have already seen this match 3 times already'. But there is no rule stating that they can't have another one?

Do you remember the number of times The Rock and Steve Austin faced each other? They feuded over the IC title as well as the WWE Championship. It was almost never-ending. But did the fans find it boring?

They never seemed to because Rock and Austin knew how to go the distance and put on a good match. Steve Austin chose Rocky to be his last opponent because of their history with each other.

Could we see a Lesnar vs Goldberg rematch one last time? In WWE, nothing is for sure.

#1 Matt Riddle

The Beast vs The Bro
The Beast vs The Bro

Matt Riddle is one of the most exciting talents on the NXT roster right now. He is an extraordinary athlete who has a fantastic set of moves and can move with the very best. His background is similar to Brock Lesnar's. He was a collegiate wrestler and also had a 5 year run in the UFC. But he tested positive for marijuana and was released.

He started wrestling on the indies and eventually found his way to NXT in 2018. He has gone on record to say he wants to be the man to retire Brock Lesnar. While they are similar, they are very different, from a character POV. Brock is a legitimate tough guy while Matt is very much like his 'Bro' character who is just 'chilling' but can amp it in the middle of the ring.

This is a dream match in the making. If there is someone who's going to get the rub, it has to be Matt Riddle. The Bros has landed, indeed!
