John Cena and Batista were set to face each other at SummerSlam 2008. Then WWE RAW GM Mike Adamle had the brilliant idea of trying to get them to co-exist and booked them in a match for the WWE Tag-Team Championships on the August 4, 2008 episode of RAW against Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiasie jr).
To be fair, Batista and Cena won the titles on the night but lost them 7 days later in the rematch on the next episode of RAW.
#1. Kofi Kingston and CM Punk
For some younger fans who may not remember, CM Punk and Kofi Kingston are former tag-team champions. They are actually also good friends in real life.
On the October 27th, 2008 episode of RAW, Kofi Kingston and CM Punk beat Ted DiBiasie Jr and Cody Rhodes to win the WWE Tag-Team Championships.
