Zach Gowen was already making waves in the indies when WWE signed him up at age 21 as the first one-legged Superstar in WWE history. He was immediately thrust into the top storyline on SmackDown between Mr. America (Hulk Hogan) and Vince McMahon. Gowen was also later involved in a storyline with Brock Lesnar where he infamously got brutalized by The Beast.

However, Gowen repeatedly got a big head backstage after achieving success so quickly in the WWE and reportedly rubbed people backstage the wrong way. He was released in 2005 and since then has overcome bouts with addiction. He has continued wrestling on the independent scene after a run with TNA following his WWE release.

He's much older today and looks a lot more different than the fresh-faced lad we saw on WWE television.
