#2 He has a ton of momentum

You would find it difficult to realise Seth Rollins is having perhaps the best year of his WWE career. After a rocky start as a face, Rollins has gone from strength to strength over the last six months and is putting on some of the best performances of his career.
His current run with the Intercontinental Title has been excellent and is one of the best things on WWE television right now. His matches with The Miz at Backlash, and then with Kevin Owens on Raw were nothing short of outstanding. Without a doubt, he has worked similar wonders with The Universal Title around his waist.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
Rollins is riding a huge wave of momentum at the moment and the WWE would be foolish to try and stop that. Once he has rolled through all of the mid-card on Raw, which he is likely to do fairly quickly given his current open challenge gimmick, then the only way is up.
The WWE has a habit of building people up only to have them get squished by Lesnar, but if they do that once again with Rollins, then they may finally be out of options.
