Styles took on Rey Mysterio, Robert Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Ricochet for the chance to fight for RAW's most prestigious title, but the way that he eliminated Nakamura from the match featured an interesting botch.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
Styles delivered his Phenomenal Forearm to the Intercontinental Champion, but it was miles away from the intended target. Styles tried his best to make it look like he hit the target, but it was obvious that he didn't actually hit the move. Nakamura was then eliminated from the match following the botch.

Styles was later eliminated when he received a Glorious DDT from Robert Roode, but Rey Mysterio ultimately won the match to set up what could easily be seen as a fantasy match against Rollins for the Universal Championship next week.
