Back in the summer of 2012, WWE was building towards the 1000th episode of Monday Night RAW. Several yesteryear Superstars would make appearances around that time to promote the landmark edition of the show.
It was around this time that Heath Slater decided to get into feuds with WWE legends. He would call them out stating that their era was over and it was his time now. A host of Superstars would beat Slater in a series of squash matches but two names, in particular, were achieving a special milestone.
Firstly, Vader bludgeoned Slater on the 11 June 2012 episode of RAW to record his first win on WWE TV since beating Goldust in September 1998 on the same show.
Then there was Sycho Sid who also took care of business quickly against Slater on the 25 June 2012 episode of RAW. This was the 2-time WWF Champion's first victory on television in over 15 years since he pinned Owen Hart in 1997.
