There have been a lot of variations to a hardcore match in the history of WWE. Be it a No Disqualification match, No Holds Barred, a Streetfight, or whatnot, these all are fought under the rules that the WWE Superstars can use various objects as weapons during the match without getting disqualified.

Another unique yet weird variation of a hardcore match took place at No Mercy 1999 between Jeff Jarrett and Chyna for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. The match was called a "Good Housekeeping match" with weapons legal, as long as they were household items. The match saw both the Superstars use all sorts of unexpected things as weapons including a kitchen sink, a trash can, a broom, and even a toilet seat!

The match first ended with Jarrett hitting Chyna with the IC title belt and pinning her to retain his title. But the referee then overturned the ruling stating that the belt was not a household item. In the end, it was the Ninth Wonder of the World, Chyna who won the match after hitting JJ with a guitar and became the first female WWE Superstar to hold the Intercontinental Championship.
