Do The Riott Squad deserve better?

WWE's way of getting a lot of women on the card wasn't through the battle royal, but a Tag Team Turmoil match involving six teams. The Riott Squad duo of Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott lasted until the end on Night 1, but after getting worn out, they lost to the fresher team of Natalya and Tamina.

Post-WrestleMania, the WWE Women's Tag Team Title picture appears to be the same. Tamina and Natalya will be competing for the Tag Team Championship.

The Riott Squad hasn't had many opportunities in the past couple of years. WrestleMania would have been the perfect time to pull the trigger on a potential Title run for them. While we're sure that Tag Team gold awaits them at some point, they would have been more ideal opponents for Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

The Natalya and Tamina vs. Jax and Baszler match at WrestleMania wasn't particularly interesting, which is why we're surprised that WWE is targeting a rematch in the coming weeks or at WrestleMania Backlash.
