The Longest Running Weekly Episodic Show turned 25 this past January.
WWE has been around for a long time. Over the years, the product has evolved into something completely different. In spite of that, some things have still remained as they were back in the day. For example, the "Big 4" Pay-per-views, which have been around for over 30 years. In 2012, WWE's flagship show, Raw, completed 1000 episodes and a special episode was held to celebrate this historic feat.
This year, Raw achieved another historic milestone. In January, Raw turned 25 and to celebrate the 25th anniversary, a special edition of Raw aired simultaneously from two different arenas in New York City. The episode was graced with the presence of countless Superstars of the past and present. In addition to that, Smackdown Live also celebrated the completion of 1000 episodes this October. Thus, this year was truly monumental for both Raw and Smackdown Live.

About the author
Ali Siddiqui
Ali Siddiqui is a listicle and feature writer for Sportskeeda Wrestling since 2018. After completing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, he decided to write for Sportskeeda Wrestling after learning about it through a friend. He briefly worked for The Sportster as well.
Ali's love for pro wrestling dates back to when Randy Orton won a Battle Royal to become the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam 2004. His current favorite wrestler is Cody Rhodes because he's the ultimate throwback babyface. He believes Rhodes has the Surfer Sting's passion, Bret Hart's prop-gifting schtick, a catchy theme like Hogan's, and a kid-friendly demeanor akin to John Cena's.
When he is not doing research for his articles on Google or catching up with the latest in pro wrestling, Ali can be found honing his Data Science and AI skills as he strives to get back into tech in the near future.
