In 2012, Ryback was catapulted into the main-event scene, unsuccessfully challenging for the evil Punk's WWE Championship, which the Chicago son would hold for 434 days.
A year later, the roles were reversed, as the villainous Ryback would take on the face Punk, in Punk's feud against former manager Paul Heyman.
Speaking on Colt Cabana's podcast, Punk has said that Ryback was a "liability" and was stiff in the ring.
Ryback has said Punk wasn't good to wrestle with either, in an interview with Buzzards Wrestling podcast.
