The way WWE booked Kofi Kingston on Smackdown Live last week brought back memories for longtime fans of the former WWE Tag Team champion, as it transported us back to a time when Kofi was an integral piece of WWE when giants and legends still roamed WWE.

That was a time when Kofi was considered as a future World Champion by many, but that sadly never materialized, as his career took a downswing until he formed The New Day and reminded us all how talented he really is.

And at the Elimination Chamber Kofi was the real MVP of the entire show, after outlasting so many superstars, it was shocking to see Kofi actually having a chance of beating Daniel Bryan for the WWE Championship.
While the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match was entertaining enough, it reached another level when it was just Kofi and Bryan as the final two competitors.
And everything was done to perfection by WWE, and even though Kofi didn't win, his surprising run through the chamber was a welcomed sight from WWE.
