Don't mistake the Italian Stallion to be clumsy behind the wheel. Marella was on his way to a house show in Puerto Rico when another vehicle crashed into his SUV from out of nowhere.

The former Intercontinental Champion suffered a shoulder injury and was forced to miss a few weeks of actions before returning to face none other than Jinder Mahal.

WWE was quick to report the accident back then and spoke to Miss WrestleMania immediately after the unfortunate setback.

"My car flipped sideways and the trunk hit a light pole, it completely crushed in. The airbags deployed, and all I could smell was gunpowder. There was broken glass everywhere, and I tried to open the passenger door, but it was stuck. Luckily, there was still power in the car. I opened the sunroof and crawled out."
