I know it's unlikely because he's feuding with Roman Reigns also and is the next logical opponent, but The Miz really does need to beat Shane McMahon at Money in the Bank. While Miz has Teflon qualities against WWE's bad booking and can bounce back after a loss, there's something even more important that needs to happen.

Shane McMahon needs to be removed from television. He is without question the most noxious presence on the shows right now and his hogging the spotlight has prevented the content from evolving post-WrestleMania. His appearances on both shows have been time wasting escapades that have extended his feud with The Miz unnecessarily and overexposed Roman Reigns. Shane McMahon has had one of the worst runs of anyone this year so far.
For the sake of the product, The Miz needs to win here, but I'm not holding my breath.
