Chyna is probably the very first main character in the women's evolution. She won the WWF Intercontinental Championship (2 times) and the WWF Women's Championship (1 time) and the only woman who entered the men's Royal Rumble match twice. She was also the first woman to participate in the King of the Ring tournament, and to become number one contender for the WWF Championship.

In 1999, The Ninth Wonder of the World became the first woman to ever participate in the Rumble—entering in number 30 and, although she lasted only 35 seconds, she eliminated no more and no less than Mark Henry.

The following year, she was the 11th entrance in the 30-man Royal Rumble match for a WWF Championship match at WrestleMania 2000, lasted 38 seconds and eliminated Chris Jericho before being eliminated by Big Boss Man.
