Kevin Owens is a Superstar who has been calling for a match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania for many years now. He's crossed paths with him before, but only in a forgettable live event match where he lost.
Owens has had a bit of an odd career on the main roster so far. While his run between 2016-2018 was a significant one, he dropped out of the radar for a while and wasn't in the position that he would have hoped to be in at that time.
Despite this, it's clear that Vince McMahon and the WWE higher-ups recognize his talent, which is why he has been in many big spots over the years, whether it was debuting and beating John Cena in 2015, his Universal Championship run from 2016 to early 2017, his feud against Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan, being a World title challenger, and also the man responsible for Shane McMahon's departure from WWE.
He most recently defeated Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 36 and he is a Superstar deserving of a win against Brock Lesnar.
