Big Cass is another unique persona on WWE's main roster. When he signed with WWE in 2011, Cass had very little wrestling experience, but because of his in-ring presence and size, WWE officials decided to gamble on the youngster from Queens.

During his time in the developmental system, Enzo and Cass were an instant hit with the fans. So much so that it carried them to the main roster where things didn' go quite as well as they'd hoped.
Personally, I think splitting Enzo and Cass was a terrible idea. While Enzo has certainly had success on the 205 Live roster as the Cruiserweight Champion, his ring work still leaves a lot to be desired and the fans are seeing right through it.

Unfortunately, Big Cass is currently sitting at home, nursing a gnarly torn ACL injury which he suffered during a match against Enzo on RAW, back in August. The injury was so severe that doctors expect Cass to miss as much as 9 months of action.
Once he returns to action, WWE's creative squad should pass the brass ring to Cass and put him in line to compete for maybe the United States, or the Intercontinental title. This would be a gigantic step in the right direction for the next era giant.
