#8 Carmella's record time to cash in her Money in the Bank contract

Carmella became the first woman to win the first-ever women's Money in the Bank briefcase in 2017. Nevertheless, she took 287 days to cash in her contract. Carmella cashed in her Money in the Bank contract against Charlotte Flair and became the Smackdown Women's champion. She broke Edge's 280-day mark, which was the first ever Money in the Bank contract.

#7 Pete Dunne's title reign

Pete Dunne became the second ever WWE United Kingdom champion at NXT Takeover Chicago in May 2017. As a matter of fact, it was an incredible match against Tyler Bate, and the match won the NXT Match of the Year award.

Dunne is an exceptional in-ring performer, and he has defended his title several times. He is still the United Kingdom champion, and he has held the title over 580 days as of now. It is the longest WWE title reign in recent years. The 25-year is expected to continue his reign next year.

However, James attained a new record recently when she surpassed Trish Stratus and competed in her 164th match. Presently, she holds the record of fighting in the most number of matches by a female superstar.

#5 Charlotte Flair's PPV record

Charlotte Flair is one of the best female superstars in the WWE, and she had a remarkable year. She has won many PPV matches since joining the main roster in 2015. She won her first 16 matches on pay-per-view but she attained a new PPV record this year.

She won her 24th PPV match at Summerslam, which broke Trish Stratus's record of having most PPV wins by any female superstar. Her next PPV win came at WWE Super Show-Down in Australia.

#4 Gauntlet match record

Seth Rollins set a new astonishing record on the 19th February episode of Raw. Rollins lasted 65 minutes in a Gauntlet match, and it was the longest individual performance in the history of Raw. In fact, Rolins pinned John Cena and Roman Reigns in the same night before Elias pinned him. It was undoubtedly one of the best performances of Rollins, and the WWE Universe applauded it.

WWE signed Asuka in 2015, and she was one of the biggest stars in NXT. She had an unbeaten run in NXT, and she had some excellent matches. She won the NXT Women's Championship, but she never lost the title. Asuka had to relinquish her NXT title when she moved the main roster.

Asuka had a great start in the main roster. She continued her undefeated streak and won the first ever women's Royal Rumble match. However, her winning run came to an end when Charlotte Flair defeated her at Wrestlemania 34. She was unbeaten for a record of 267 matches.

#2 Brock Lesnar's Universal title record

Brock Lesnar won his first Universal title at Wrestlemania 33 when he defeated Goldberg. He held the title a record of 503 days, and he had a marvelous title reign. It was the longest world championship title reign in the modern era, but he lost the title to Roman Reigns at Summerslam. However, Reigns relinquished the title due to illness and Lesnar won his second Universal title at Crown Jewel when he pinned Braun Strowman.

WWE held Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, and it was an enthralling show. It was held three weeks after Wrestlemania 34. Several records were set at Greatest Royal Rumble, and it lived up to the expectations of the WWE Universe. It had the first ever 50- man Royal Rumble match, and it broke the record of 40-man Royal Rumble match in 2011, which was won by Alberto Del Rio.

Braun Strowman won the Greatest Royal Rumble match, and he also set a record by eliminating 13 superstars. Roman Reigns held the previous record of 12 eliminations in the 2014 Royal Rumble.

Moreover, the Greatest Royal Rumble set another new record. Daniel Bryan was the very first superstar to enter the match, and he survived 1 hour and 16 minutes in the match. The previous record was held by Rey Mysterio, as he lasted 1 hour and 2 minutes in the 2006 Royal Rumble.
