Shinsuke Nakamura joined the WWE in 2016. Then, he spent some time in the NXT before showing up on the main roster.
However, since his main roster debut, Nakamura hasn’t done anything significant except for winning the 2018 Royal Rumble match.

He then faced AJ Styles at WrestleMania 34 for the WWE Championship but failed to win it. He also turned heel in this match, and since then, his career became stale.
His WWE contract is going to expire this year, and it’s possible that he could then leave the company.
There is currently no rumour that Nakamura is planning to leave the WWE but, money can change everything. If AEW or any other wrestling promotion would give him a great offer then why not?
