AEW Dynamite: 3 botches and mistakes you missed this week (13th November 2019)

AEW Full Gear delivered this past weekend and created several interesting swerves, the most important one being the fact that MJF can finally become the heel that he's been wanting to be after turning on Cody Rhodes and costing him the AEW World Championship.

Jon Moxley continued his impressive streak in AEW after he was cleared for action but his opponent on Saturday night Kenny Omega wasn't as lucky since he was seen backstage sporting a few interesting injuries.

Jurassic Express returned to AEW without Lucharsaurus since the former WWE star is currently out with an injury, but Marko Stunt and Jungle Boy still put on a fantastic show in his absence, until The Dinosaur was forced to make his return.

As ever, it was a stacked week of action but there were some shocking botches this week on the show and here are the main ones that stood out.

#3 Stu Grayson drops Marko Stunt

Jurassic Express took on The Dark Order this week as they continued their quest for their first win in AEW but this week wasn't their week. Stunt and Jungle Boy put up quite a fight against Stu Grayson and Evil Ono but it all came crashing down when Stunt was pinned by Grayson.

Stunt was part of many botches throughout the match that saw him fall off the top rope before it seemed as though he was dropped on the mat by Grayson when he looked like he was trying to deliver the backbreaker to set up for the finish.

Even though Jurassic Express lost the match, Dark Order took it too far when they attacked the smaller stars after the match and Luchasaurus was forced to make his way to the ring, two months sooner than expected and save his children from a beatdown.

#2 Jake Hager drops Christopher Daniels

Christopher Daniels only returned from injury at Full Gear when he helped SCU in their match against The Lucha Bros and Private Party. The Lucha Bros were the reason Daniels was sidelined for a number of weeks when it was revealed that he had suffered a stinger in a beatdown on the entrance ramp, but he returned much sooner than expected.

Daniels was almost sidelined once again this week when he delivered a suicide dive to Jake Hager but the former WWE star caught Daniels realized that he was much heavier than expected and fell over on top of him.

It's obvious that the two men were not supposed to fall down since Hager then leans over and picks Daniels back up so that he can throw him into the barricade. If it had gone smoothly, Daniels should have been caught, landed on his feet and then been the subject of an Irish Whip into the barricade instead.

Daniels recovered after the match in time to celebrate with his time after Scorpio Sky pinned the World Champion, so it appears that he escaped injury this time around.

#1 Cody drops Chris Jericho

MJF has now fully turned heel on AEW Dynamite

Cody and Chris Jericho have had issues for a number of weeks leading up to their World Championship match this past weekend, but their feud didn't end at Full Gear since the two men had another confrontation this week on Dynamite. MJF was the reason that Cody wasn't able to lift the title at Full Gear since he threw in the towel for the star before he then low-blowed him when he was looking for an explanation after the match.

MJF came out to Cody's theme this week and the entire segment then led to a confrontation between Cody and Jericho which then became physical and saw Cody looking to deliver a powerslam, but it didn't go to plan and Jericho actually fell over in one of the worst botches on the show since it made its debut on TNT.

The two men fell to the floor and looked somewhat embarrassed as two of the most experienced wrestlers in the company managed to be part of such a huge botch before they were forced to continue the planned segment as if nothing had happened.
