PAC kicked off the show this week when he took on Trent, it was a fantastic back and forth between the two stars and definitely a feud that many fans could be invested in, but the finish left a lot to be desired.
It's unknown as to whether or not the referee decided to stop the count as a botch or if Trent failed to kick out, but what is known is that this obviously wasn't the plan. PAC lands The Black Arrow and then goes for the cover but before the referee can count three, he decides to stop even though Trent's shoulders are still down.
Did PAC call an audible and decide that Trent should stay down for the count since him kicking out would kill the impact of his finisher, or did Trent just forget to kick out? Either way, this was the wrong way to finish what was a fantastic match and now the wrong kind of attention is following PAC into Full Gear where he faces Adam Page in their rubber match.
