#2 The Young Bucks became No. #1 contenders for FTR's AEW World Tag Team Titles
The main event of this week's AEW Dynamite saw The Young Bucks squaring off against Private Party, Dark Order's Silver & Reynolds, and the Butcher & the Blade.
AEW fans knew that Young Bucks and FTR would face each other at some point down the road. Last night's Dynamite brought that scenario to the front, and after winning the main event, it looks like The Young Bucks and FTR's dream match will go down at AEW Full Gear.

After the match, a masked man attacked Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks with a steel chair. This allowed FTR to pick up the advantage in an impromptu brawl. The masked man was none other than FTR's mentor, Tully Blanchard.
What's odd about this dream showdown is that both FTR and Young Bucks are heel teams at the moment. Despite weeks of building up a new attitude for The Young Bucks, AEW booked the post-main event sequence in such a way that a certain amount of sympathy was gained for Matt & Nick Jackson.
Some fans felt unsure about this decision, but from an in-ring perspective, Young Bucks vs FTR is a match that every AEW fan is looking forward to at Full Gear.
On a side note, Matt Hardy was present near ringside to cheer on Private Party, but he was ambushed by Sammy Guevara pretty soon. An Elite Deletion match between the two long-time rivals was confirmed by AEW last night.
