#3: Cody and Orange Cassidy's AEW TNT Title Match ended in a time-limit draw
Previously, Cody's hellacious battle with Brodie Lee for the TNT Title saw The American Nightmare being crowned as the new champion. He also received a challenge from Orange Cassidy last week, as both men faced each other with the TNT Title at stake on this week's AEW Dynamite.
Cody and Cassidy's in-ring styles didn't perfectly gel together inside the squared circle. It was an average match at best, but the finish to this bout was interesting. Cassidy had almost defeated Cody, but before the referee could complete the three count, the time limit for this match ended, resulting in a draw.
Darby Allin was seated in the stands for this match, as it was announced that he would be challenging for the TNT Title at AEW Full Gear.
Before that can happen, Orange Cassidy will get his rematch against Cody two weeks from now. If their next encounter ends in an indecisive manner, fans could very well witness a Triple Threat Match between Cassidy, Cody, and Allin, at AEW's Full Gear Pay-Per-View.
