#1: MJF and Wardlow bloodied Jon Moxley after the AEW World Champion defeated MJF's lawyer in the main event
Jon Moxley and Mark Sterling fought in the main event of this week's AEW Dynamite in what ended up being a silly bout altogether.
One of the main reasons why Moxley left WWE was being subjected to endless "comedy" segments, even though his character was supposed to be a Lunatic Fringe.
WWE doesn't want these wrestlers back - Find out now!
Moxley is at the top of the AEW food chain right now, and character-wise, Moxley is finally the person he wants to be on television. But for all intents and purposes, the main event to this week's Dynamite felt underwhelming, to say the least.
Mark Sterling did a good job in selling his own in-ring clumsiness. But it has been thoroughly established in wrestling history that Moxley and comedy don't gel well together.
MJF and Wardlow beat up Moxley to a bloody pulp after the bout, which was a good way to establish MJF as a serious threat. But for a pro-wrestling centric show like AEW Dynamite, last night's main event is definitely not the direction to opt for Jon Moxley's long-term World title reign.
