This was MJF's long awaited return to the ring and he went right after Johnson, stepping on his throat at one point. MJF hit Johnson with a nasty slap across the face that reverberated around the building. This was followed by a powerbomb onto the apron, and then back in the ring, he followed it up with a shoulder-breaker. He then locked in an armbar forcing Lee Johnson to tap out.

Jericho slapped Pete across the face to start the match. This incensed PIneapple Pete and he laid into Jericho with a series of strikes. Pete looked like he had the momentum with him as he hit a series of running elbows in the corner. Just when it looked like Pete might put up a fight, Jericho caught him with a Judas Effect to pin him.

Chris Jericho called out The Elite after the match. asking if they were even a thing anymore. He then challenged them to the first ever Stadium Stampede match at AEW Double or Nothing. Vanguard 1 came out with The Elite's answer and Jericho introduced us to the sixth member of the Inner Circle, his baseball bat which he named Floyd. Jericho then destroyed Vanguard 1 with his baseball bat.
