AEW Dynamite Results (January 8th, 2020): Legend debuts in title match, Jon Moxley turns heel?

Chris Jericho hyped Jon Moxley during his entrance. Jericho said that he plans to throw a party where no one else is invited. He posed the question he asked last week. Moxley said he had a lot to think about this past week.

He said "You might think you know what makes me tick. You might think you know my goals and motivations, but you don't". He said that the same applies to Jericho and said that he can't be brought. He said that he came to dominate and run roughshod over professional wrestling.

He seemed to be close to saying no, but he shocked everyone by saying "Yes!", which shocked the crowd. He removed his jacket to reveal that he was wearing an "Inner Circle" shirt.

He said that Chris Jericho was the greatest and that he wanted to be surrounded by it. He urged Jericho to open the "Little bit of bubbly" champagne and the party began with Jericho, Jack Hager, Sammy Guevara, and Jon Moxley. He even accepted the car that Jericho gifted him.

After all the champagne and celebrations, Hager and Guevara left the ring. Moxley told Jericho that he was just kidding and that he would never join the Inner Circle since they don't have anything he wants.

He smashed Jericho's head with the champagne bottle and fled through the crowd, ending the show on a high note. Looks like the answer is "No" after all!
