Lucha Bros vs Best Friends

The first match of the night saw Chuckie T and Trent take Pentagon and Fenix, the Lucha Bros. The Lucha Bros didn't waste any time and attacked Taylor and Trent as they were still making their way down to the ring.

The Best Friends have had a good record against the Lucha Bros in recent weeks, with Trent beating Pentagon on AEW dark. It looked like this streak would end as the Lucha Bros dominated the early stages of the match. Taylor and Trent were unable to match the ferocity and pace of the Lucha Bros in the early stages.

Trent and Chuck eventually got back in the match, digging down deep and giving it all they had. The closing stages of the match saw Fenix hitting his own partner by mistake. Trent made no mistake from this point. He had Pentagon exactly where he wanted him and we got a flash from AEW Dark. Trent hit Pentagon Jr with the Dudebuster and picked up a massive win for his team.

After this massive win, it won't be surprising to see Chuckie T and Trent getting a shot at the AEW Tag-Team Championships soon.
