MJF has Wardlow at ringside with him as his insurance policy. However, that didn't stop Adam Page from unloading on MJF in the early stages of the match. Page took MJF out to ringside and dumped him into the crowd.
MJF showed his guile at this point, distracting the referee, as Wardlow got involved at ringside, sending Page shoulder-first into the ring post. MJF continued to focus on Page's left arm but the big man wouldn't be held down.
Page hit MJF with a Fallaway Slam before clotheslining him out of the ring. The big man hit MJF with a suicide dive before heading to the top rope and hitting a moonsault out to ringside. Page finally connected with a Buckshot Lariat but Wardlow put MJF's foot on the bottom rope at the last second. MJF had the referee distracted again as Wardlow caught Page in the face with a right hand. MJF capitalized and hit Page with the Cross Rhodes to win the match.
