When Allie was announced as an AEW talent, Brandi Rhodes began her backstage politicking (well, not backstage, as it played out on BTE), but that all changed in this past week. On the latest 'Road to Fight for the Fallen', Brandi opened up about her past as a figure skater, and how she often froze on the biggest stages.
While it was easy to dislike Brandi before, due to the constant talk behind everyone's back, but after the emotional promo on 'Road to', the entire crowd in Jacksonville will be willing her on. AEW would be wise to play off of this, and a more aggressive, perhaps heel Allie would help get the crowd further behind the CBO.
This would be a great way to build Brandi for the future as an underdog babyface, or even help build to a big heel turn in the future, but for all that to work, Brandi needs to come up short here, and that's what we predict.
