AEW Fyter Fest Night 2 Results: ECW title returns after 21 years, Huge main event

Chris Jericho vs Orange Cassidy

Orange Cassidy tried to get under Chris Jericho's skin with his trademark pose as soon as the bell rang in the AEW Fyter Fest main event. Cassidy ended up headbutting Jericho before sending him rolling out of the ring. Jericho locked in the Liontamer early but Cassidy managed to reach the bottom rope. Le Champion followed it up by sending Cassidy crashing into the barricade with a baseball slide.

During the break, Jericho tried to wear down Cassidy, locking in an abdominal stretch. Jericho used the ropes to balance himself but the referee spotted it and broke it up. Jericho wasn't happy and replied with punches to the head.

Cassidy replied with strikes and forearms of his own followed by a hurracanrana from the middle rope. Cassidy then suckered Jericho in with his trademark low kicks before catching him with a superkick to the jaw for a nearfall.

Cassidy went for a Superman Punch but Jericho locked in the Liontamer once again. Cassidy managed to roll Jericho up for a 2-count before nailing him with a right hand.

Ortiz threw orange juice into the ring and into Cassidy's face at this point to stop him. Best Friends came out to chase Santana and Ortiz away from the AEW ring. Jericho caught Casidy with a Codebreaker but he kicked out at 2.

An incensed Orange Cassidy replied with a Michinoku Driver for a 2-count. Cassidy followed it up with a Stundog Millionaire followed by a swinging DDT. Cassidy went to follow up with a Superman Punch but Jericho caught him with the Judas Effect to end the AEW Fyter Fest Night 2.
