Another shocking title change took the WWE Universe by surprise at Hell in a Cell

The second title match of the night was for the US Championship which saw AJ Styles defend the title against Baron Corbin but a last moment decision from Daniel Bryan saw a third entrant, Tye Dillinger joining the action. The Triple Threat match began with the three contestants sizing each other up before Dillinger and Styles teaming up against Corbin, who had no other chance than to run away from the ring.

Dillinger caught AJ Styles by surprise and caught him in a roll-up but Styles recovered and hit Dillinger with a huge dropkick. Corbin then dragged Styles out of the ring and took advantage of the situation with a few well-placed slaps on the chest of the Champion.

Corbin and Styles returned to the ring and the Lone Wolf threw the Champion's limp body into the turnbuckles before catching him in a headlock. Styles got back to the ring and tried to hit Corbin with a phenomenal forearm but Corbin caught him with a huge punch to the face.

Corbin went for the spear on Styles who was in the corner but the Champion moved out of the way. Styles landed a 450 on the Lone Wolf and went for the pin but was broken up by Dillinger.

Dillinger was caught with a phenomenal forearm but before he could capitalise, Corbin threw him outside getting the pin on Tye Dillinger and winning the WWE US Championship.

Result: Baron Corbin def. AJ Styles, Tye Dillinger and won the WWE United States Championship
