AJ Styles's first feud in the WWE revealed

Phenomenal times ahead

AJ Styles making his long overdue debut at Royal Rumble was arguably the biggest take away from a decent pay-per-view overall. Styles was booked strongly in the match – lasting 28 minutes, before being eliminated by Kevin Owens.

According to Dave Meltzer, AJ Styles is set to get into a feud with Owens in the time to come. Owens wrapped up his Intercontinental title feud with Dean Ambrose after a hellacious Last man standing match.

It should also be noted that Owens, after eliminating Styles, said the words ‘welcome to the WWE’ that signaled the initiation of a program between the two. Styles faced off against Chris Jericho in a short yet solid match on RAW.

Y2J and Styles shook hands post-match, but Jericho didn’t let go and stared down Styles – which indicated a possible feud between the two. It seems it won’t be Jericho but Owens who would be the first test for Styles in the WWE.

This is the best way to go forward when it comes to the two indie darlings as the complete feud – whether it is the match or the promo work – would be top notch considering the talent that Owens and Styles possess.

The feud sure would be an entertaining affair and something that WWE should certainly fo ahead with.

Speaking of the Phenomenal AJ Styles, his merchandise sold like hot cakes at the Royal Rumble and were sold out in a jiffy. With the crowd hot for Styles and his merchandise sales also kicking off with a bang – WWE would be really pleased with their move of signing the hottest free agent in pro-wrestling.
