Rawley participated in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal during WrestleMania 33's kickoff show. The ending to the match saw Rawley eliminating Jinder Mahal with help from his friend, Rob Gronkowski. Rawley was involved with Zack Ryder at the time, with the duo dubbing themselves The Hype Bros. Rawley went on to turn heel on Ryder, and later claimed that the latter was dead weight to him. Things didn't work out for Rawley though, and he never managed to break out of the mid-card. Rawley teased a new gimmick via a bunch of vignettes last year. The character was dropped soon after debuting. He later got involved in several 24/7 title segments, winning the belt on 6 occasions.
Rawley recently welcomed his friend Rob Gronkowski in WWE, who had signed a contract with the promotion. 3 years after winning the big one, Rawley is still dangling in the mid-card. Hopefully, things take a turn somewhere down the line and he gets a chance to showcase his skills on a regular basis.

He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback.
