This year's Survivor Series featured Superstars of WWE NXT competing for brand supremacy for the first time against Superstars of WWE RAW and SmackDown. One such match was a 5-on-5-on-5 women's elimination tag team match.

Team RAW was captained by 10-time Women's Champion Charlotte Flair and comprised of Natalya, Sarah Logan, and WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Asuka and Kairi Sane. SmackDown's team consisted of Sasha Banks as the captain, Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans, Carmella, and Dana Brooke while Team NXT, captained by Rhea Ripley also featured Candice LeRae, Toni Storm, Bianca Belair, and Io Shirai.

During the match, Asuka got into a heated argument with team captain Charlotte Flair and walked out after Charlotte insulted her. The Empress of Tomorrow later took to Twitter to make a statement against The Queen.

The reason behind the argument

At one point during the match, Team RAW was dominating. When Asuka eliminated Dana Brooke, Charlotte tagged herself in. This angered Asuka and she shoved Charlotte to which The Queen also attempted to push Asuka.

As a result, Asuka walked out on her team and after a few moments, returned to the ring only to spit the green mist on Charlotte's face. Flair was blinded and this allowed Lacey Evans to eliminate the former after knocking her out with the Woman's Right.

It remains to be seen if the fallout from their confrontation will factor into some kind of feud in the near future.
