Regarding CM Punk’s comments about Ryback in his interview with Colt Cabana’s Podcast, there is a feeling within WWE officials, that the comments made by CM Punks were cheap and unprofessional. Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that no one believed that Ryback really kicked Punk as hard as he could or intentionally broke his ribs for that matter.
On the same note, it was also believed that almost nobody within WWE had any sympathy for Punk’s health situation with his various injuries. The feeling was that every top guy on the WWE roster, who works a full schedule, has a litany of injuries.
