I know that Chris Jericho got 'the list' over in WWE and he made a phrase like 'drink it in man!' popular with the masses. But somehow, he's gone a little overboard in AEW with the comedy shtick. I thought the reverse psychology shtick through which Scorpion Sky convinced him to agree to a title match was very silly.
I thought the same about Orange Cassidy in the battle royal. Dynamite was a fine show until Orange Cassidy showed up to the party, in my honest opinion. Maybe I don't get his character at all, but I'm guessing others feel the same way about him as well. He just ruined what was an otherwise entertaining battle royal for me.
I know that Santino Marella gets a lot of hate for that infamous cobra strike segment even now. I would have to say that there was a lot more on this week on Dynamite that was sillier than that particular segment.
