One has to wonder if this surprise should have been kept for a live show at some point down the line so that the WWE SmackDown audience could have enjoyed the big moment with Big E as it happened.
The main reason why WWE SmackDown and RAW have been able to bag such big numbers for so many years is because of a feeling of 'anything could happen', thanks to the live format. It was a fantastic show from start to finish but could have been better had it been a non-taped show.
