Brad Maddox, a former referee in WWE and now an on-air authority figure: The General Manager of Raw.

Maddox was promoted to main roster as referee in August 2012, debuting as a referee in a Divas Battle Royal on August 20 episode of Raw. He came into picture and rose to fame when he screwed Ryback out of the WWE championship at Hell in a Cell 2012.

He was referee for the main event match between CM Punk and Ryback in a Hell in a Cell match for WWE Championship. Maddox gave Ryback a low blow when he was about to win the match and went forward to fast-count the pin for CM Punk, letting Punk retain the title and in turn was ruthlessly beaten by Ryback.

He had revealed later in November on Raw that he did not work for Punk and rather his long unfulfilled dream of becoming a WWE superstar had prompted him for such unfitting actions. He was later offered opportunity to earn WWE contract by putting him into matches against various WWE superstars on both Raw and Smackdown but, he failed.

However, he kept making fitful appearances on Raw and was finally hired as an assistant to Vickie Guerrero. The manager-assistant pair turned out to be an agreeably diverting pair, highly entertaining in the backstage.

On July 8th, 2013 Maddox was named as the General Manager of Raw after Vickie Guerrero was fired by Stephanie McMahon due to a failed performance review, as voted by the WWE Universe. With his solid charisma and powerful character, he looks out be an adept choice as a GM. He has also been a former wrestler at Ohio Valley Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling.
