The latest WWE Starrcade event featured 11 matches on the card but only four of them were telecasted on the WWE Network. The main event for the Network part was the Last Man Standing match featuring Rusev and Bobby Lashley. However, the concluding bout for the fans in attendance for the event was the Steel Cage Match between Braun Strowman and The Fiend for the WWE Universal Championship.
The two wrestled back-and-forth but it seemed that The Fiend didn't feel any effect from the battle with The Monster Among Men. The match ended when Wyatt escaped the cage after he had laid out Strowman with a Sister Abigail in the middle of the ring.
Although the WWE Universal Champion is yet to comment on his encounter with the former Wyatt Family member, Braun Strowman made an Instagram post to reflect on his Starrcade match.
Bray Wyatt vs Braun Strowman
The WWE Universe isn't satisfied with the clash between Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman as they didn't get to watch it first hand. But it can be decoded that WWE didn't telecast this mega matchup as they may build up this feud properly and schedule it to main event a pay-per-view later.
The last time we saw them face-to-face was on an episode of Monday Night RAW when The Fiend took out The Monster Among Men with the Mandible Claw. Hopefully, WWE will utilize the connection the two share in and outside the ring and set up a proper rivalry between Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman.
