Is Brock Lesnar about to face his toughest challenge yet in the WWE?

The buzzards eclipsed Suplex City

The most recent episode of RAW spawned what is probably the most exciting storyline for Brock Lesnar since his return to the company. The Beast made it clear that he’s got gold on his mind when he obliterated Roman Reigns on the flagship show last week, after dealing with the rest of the roster in similar fashion.

Cut to last night, where the World Heavyweight Champion returned the favour with two lethal Spears. Roman’s revenge was cut short by the Wyatt Family, who neutralized the champ and The Beast, leaving no doubt about the new angle that will develop.

This doesn’t preclude Lesnar’s pursuit of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, according to Daily Wrestling News, but he could also face either Bray Wyatt in a singles match, Braun Stowman in a singles match (OMG!) or Harper and Rowan in a handicap match. We wonder why the possibility of Brock facing Bray and Strowman was presumably overlooked?

Vince McMahon has reportedly suggested that the stable could interfere in a Reigns vs Lesnar WHC match at FastLane, thereby protecting the WWE’s marquee star. There were murmurs that even The Rock would throw Lesnar’s plans for the WHC in disarray by showing up at a title match.

Talk of the Lesnar-Wyatt angle has dated back to November, and we now know that they were accurate. Trying to predict the direction this storyline will take is almost as exciting as the real thing.
