According to a report by TMZ, Reid Flair’s death was the consequence of an “accidental overdose of heroin and other drugs,”
The autopsy conducted, also revealed trace amounts of Clonazepam and Xanax in his system.
Reid, the son of legendary WWE wrestler ‘The Nature boy’ Ric Flair, had struggled with a heroin addiction problem in the past and also had a history of being overdosed three times in two years.

Reid’s mother told The Charlotte Observer:
“I knew his fears and I knew how to help him. All he wanted to do was stay busy, train and keep his mind off the old triggers, then go back to Japan. He was doing really well there.”
“I loved him … He should have been on top of the world, but he was fighting a battle he couldn’t win.”
