Charlotte Flair and Andrade apply for very interesting new trademarks

Andrade and Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair and Andrade have been riding a wave of momentum on Monday Night RAW. While Andrade still isn't in any title picture or active storyline following his main roster move, he has been consistently pushed and protected and also featured on television, perhaps slowly being built up as one of the future top stars of the company.

As for Charlotte Flair, she has been front and center of programming as usual and Fightful reported an interesting happening recently. They stated that Charlotte Flair filed for the trademark "Ashley Flair", which is a combination of her real name and her wrestling name. She also filed for "The Queen of Wrestling", with the purpose of both trademarks being for merchandising and entertainment purposes.

Interestingly, Andrade filed for two trademarks: "El Idolo", which happens to be his nickname in WWE and "La Sombra", which was his ring name at CMLL and his entire career before WWE. The "La Sombra" trademark in Mexico belongs to the Alonso family.

Having these trademarks are usually a good business decision in the long run if in case any of them leaves WWE. However, with Charlotte Flair atleast, it seems as though she's a WWE "lifer".
